Features of “Second home” Exhibition

-51% were willing to buy real estate abroad, 26% were interested in buying out of town realty, 10% visited Exhibition’s events and conferences, 13% visited for the sake of professional growth.

-36% were interested in foreign real estate, 29%-in apartments in Moscow, 27%-residential real estate in Moscow regions, 8%-resorts in Russia

-71% were individuals and 26%-Organization Representatives 

 

First Exhibition visit

In accordance to the statistical data of the Organization Committee of the Exhibition “Second home” the number of visitors has been invariably growing from year to year. In October 2009 the number of visitors has almost doubled thanks to participation of the leading construction companies from Russia and abroad, and also an efficient advertising campaign. It should be taken into account that many visitors attended the fair for the first time. 

 

Visitors’ sex.

The exhibition is equally attractive both for men and female. More women than men rapidly see the necessity in buying a new flat, second home or improvement their accommodation conditions.  However, a decision regarding to taking up property in Moscow regions, resorts of Russia or abroad is made by men.

Marital status

Traditionally, “Second Home” exhibition is a lovely pastime for the family at the weekend.

While parents choose the most profitable apartments option among all offered, children are having a fun in “Kids Land” 

 

Age

Most visitors of the exhibition are people aged from 27 to 50. They are potential customers seeking for an apartment at the country where their children are planning to obtain a higher education or as an investment asset. There are also the visitors thought about buying country house for the family. People aged 50 or older are those who consider buying a house or apartments in the regions of Russia or abroad due to the following reasons:

- as a holiday place for their kids and grandchildren

- a recreation centre for the retired on pension.

Status

“Second Home” visitors are able to invest to realty and possess necessary financial assets for making a purchase at the nearest time.
